ARTIST STATEMENT I'm always searching for new ways to explore the female figure. Seeing
the line and trying to push it as far as I can whether realistic or abstract. I am particularly drawn to the role and beauty of the feminine. Most of my work is a portrayal
of women empowerment or observing a lack thereof. It is in the sharing of our strengths, reclaiming that which has been taken
from us, celebrating our ability to give back and write our own scripts which inspires me to paint. Its about a philosophy,
a story, a process, taking a stand or sitting with deep inquiry. The real "work" for me is roaming wide open spaces and having the freedom to be the observer.
